The Work of Art

On a sunny day in May, The Ethnic Aisle teamed up with writer, curator Alexia Bréard-Anderson and photographer Javier Lovera of The Pendulum Project to host a Facebook Live conversation between multi-disciplined artist-musicians Lido Pimienta and Bear Witness of A Tribe Called Red.

We brought these artists together to give their insights on visual representation within media and its effect on their work. The conversation covers music to collaboration to a changing comic culture. And just the right amount of honesty to fortify any artist. Have a listen.

It’s important to keep your ideas in a safe place and share them with people that you know are going to respect them and actually help you get to where you need to be.
